In explanation of Financial

Minute No. 101 of the 19th. of last November which was

recommended by the Finance Committee and approved by

Legislative Council on the 29th. ultimo, I have the

honour to forward the enclosed copies of minutes by the

Head of Sanitary Department and the Director of Public

Works, dated the 22nd. and 26th. of last September re-

-commending the resumption of Inland Lots Nos. 534 to

537, being the site of houses Nos. 11, 13, 15, and 17

Morrison Street in order to provide a suitable frontage

for the proposed reconstruction of the Old Western

Market for which provision is made in the Estimates for

1910. [su
